Maternity Jeans – Find Your Best Fit!
Summary by Tabatha Jones, edited by Ferdinand Rinaldy
It’s all about jeans when you’re pregnant. It’s amazing how the same pair of jeans can be worn so many different ways. Maternity jeans are like your sweat pants except you can’t wear your sweats to dinner.
Since you’ll wear maternity jeans throughout your entire pregnancy, not only should your jeans be cute but they should meet the pregnancy guidelines. Many of our trendiest moms prefer these three types of bands: no band, below the belly, and mid-belly.
No Band
Designed to flatter your curves, Habitual Maternity Jeans are famous for the no band feature. An adjustable button-out waistband allows you to wear these jeans at any point during your pregnancy and beyond. These are a perfect transition jean, too.
Mid-Belly
Want fashion and convenience then Mama Black Maternity Jeans are perfect for you. The better your jeans fit the more you’ll wear them and chances are for a longer period of time. Don’t hate the jeans you wear, love them!
How to Get Best Fitting Maternity Jeans
Summary by Hannah Thompson
Buy a good pair of maternity jeans.
Bootleg, skinny leg, straight leg, wide leg … I’ve tried on a whole heap of different maternity jeans and, in my opinion, maternity jeans with the wide jersey fabric stitched onto the maternity jean waistband is the best style to ensure stay-up ability. Gorgeous maternity blouses, maternity dresses and maternity tops are all available in beautiful modern prints and styles that will look fantastic paired with a great fitting maternity jean.
The most flattering of all maternity jean styles has to be the bootleg cut. If you are lucky enough to carry off this season’s hottest maternity jean style, then try the skinny leg maternity jean. Popular colors include dark indigo, vintage blue, jet black and washed blue.
Straight Leg maternity jeans are a good alternative to the skinny leg maternity jean as they balance out the leg from the thinnest to the widest point, creating a more streamlined, flattering look to the body. Maternity jeans, hands down are a pregnant gals godsend when it comes to good maternity wardrobe investment.

best women jeans
Diesel Jeans, Armani Jeans, Hugo Boss, Who’s the Best Jeans?
Summary by Darrell Freeman, edited by Ferdinand Rinaldy
Armani Jeans launched a whole new range of jeans for the summer season. Armani Jeans is one of the most popular makes of designer jeans in the UK and especially in London and the North West cities of Manchester and Liverpool. Surprisingly, the most popular Armani Jeans of the new season appear to be the J68 with the distinctive design on the back pockets of the jeans. The J68 jeans go against the normal bland Armani design with their bright logo and back pocket design. Hugo Boss have also brought out a few exciting ranges of designer jeans. The Hugo 677 jeans appear much different to the usual Hugo Boss designs such as the HB1 and HB2 jeans and the Texas range. G Star Raw has continued their innovative approach to designer jeans with the fly jeans once again proving the most popular pair of jeans of their range. G Star has shifted towards a much deeper wash colour on the jeans and the Outta range of jeans really do stand out as best jeans of the season. However it seems Stone Island has done little to develop their designer jeans range. They look poor in designs compared to Armani Jeans, Hugo Boss or G Star Raw Jeans and surprisingly for the premium product prices start at just £90.

A Denim Dilemma – Skinny and Baggy Jeans
Summary by Leanne Prime, edited by Ferdinand Rinaldy
Are Skinny Jeans over? Are Baggy Jeans this summer’s must have?
Marc Jacobs sent his models down the runway in wide-legged loose jeans and sparked a frantic switch from drainpipe denim to lose legged baggies.
But it will take more than a fashion trend to stop some women from relinquishing their rock star like skinniest.
Celebrity best dressers may flaunt the skinniest of all skinny jeans on their tiny frames but contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be a mini-size to wear them.
A dark blue color is great as it is more forgiving on legs that don’t have petite proportions and a grey color is perfect for the slim.
Want a versatile option for all shapes and sizes then try baggy ‘boyfriend’ jeans, so called because their loose, baggy cut makes them look like you nabbed them from the man in your life.
Baggies ooze effortless style and look good with your whole shoe collection including ballet pumps and trainers as well as killer heels.
Dressing Up In Hip Hop
Summary by Kristien Wilkinson
From baggy jeans and bling blings to classic gangster-inspired suits and bowler hats, a distinct and evolving fashion style has always been an indispensable element of the hip hop industry. Hip hop fashion traces its roots to the clothing style of African-American youths. Men sported gold chains while women wore large gold earrings. The emergence of gangsta rap as a sub-genre of hip hop fueled another fashion statement, this time inspired by the clothing styles of street thugs and prison inmates. Other hip hop personalities opted for the classy gangster look and wore double-breasted suits, bowler hats, silk shirts, and alligator-skin shoes. Recent trends in hip hop apparel show the influence of hipster and preppy styles. With the development of hip hop fashion, rap artists eventually ventured into the clothing business and started producing their own labels.
